My story
I graduated in Electrical Engineering and started my career developing embedded firmware for cellular gateways and low-power end devices. That foundation taught me to think across the whole system: MCU constraints, radios, power states, bootloaders, cloud protocols, and the realities of field updates.
At u-blox, I moved deeper into LTE Cat 1, LTE-M, and NB-IoT modem development and validation. I expanded automated coverage, investigated network traces, improved stress testing, and worked with complex simulated cellular environments. It sharpened the way I approach reliability and standards compliance.
In December 2021, I began freelancing part-time alongside my full-time role at u-blox. In February 2023, I moved into self-employment full-time and grew Bit Byte into a four-person product-development team. Since then, I have helped clients move more than 20 products from idea or proof of concept toward production.
I am especially interested in deeper-technology products where embedded intelligence, connectivity, and careful systems engineering create a meaningful advantage.
